It was a wonderful treat to see some Black Skimmers at Bombay Hook as I had never seen them at this particular refuge before. I watched, as this skimmer would make his regular runs though one of the Bombay freshwater pools trying to capture a meal. He kept his distance most of the time but came in close enough for me to capture him on one of his skimming runs. No meal this time...
