I watched this mating pair of Tree Swallows as they interacted with each other around their nest. The male would fly in and out and perch on a nearby tree while the female stayed primarily in their tree nest. I was able to grab this capture as the female would occasionally pop her head out. I love the detail and texture of the dead tree they chose for their home.
